These BTS episodes are predictably great in and of themselves, and still have plenty of palm-sweating moments of Honnold doing what no one else in the world can do-climb so calmly and confidently in the most pants-shitting terrain possible.īeyond the action, the pieces feature some downright gorgeous footage of Honnold climbing in the most beautiful spots on earth. But Red Bull TV has put out nearly an hour of behind-the-scenes content in a three-part series captured through the eyes of my friend Renan Ozturk, who also worked on this project. I don’t have a VR headset, however, so I haven’t watched it.
